Three new bonsai events are coming beginning this February!

The second Sunday of every month, Daniel will be presenting a bonsai demonstration and lecture from10-12 at the Donald C. Tillman Japanese Garden in Van Nuys. Learn about the history and practice of bonsai, from it's very beginnings in China as penjing to the evolution of a distinct Japanese style and eventual growth around the world after WWII. Daniel will lecture and demonstrate the art using trees from the Tillman collection.

Sunday, February 16th from 3pm-5pm, Daniel will lead a bonsai workshop at Two Faced Ceramics on Melrose Blvd in West Hollywood. Enjoy creating your own Chinese elm bonsai in a fantastic ceramic studio committed to well-crafted, green-conscious, handmade pottery.

This beginner-friendly class will teach you the fundamentals of an ancient art form. Daniel’s unique approach encourages you to stay present and connect with your tree, making bonsai a relaxing and meditative practice.
