About Daniel Deephouse

Daniel Deephouse brings more than 40 years experience, across Australia, the UK and the US, in the cultivation and study of Bonsai. He fell in love with the art when his Oma (grandmother) Elizabeth Deephouse introduced him to it when he was eight.

He loves to share his passion with everyone.

​

Daniel believes in creating ecologically friendly and water wise environments with the intent of saving the lives of animals, plants and our planet with a  reduce, reuse, recycle, upcycle philosophy.

​

Daniel currently volunteers to help maintain the Bonsai collection at the Huntington Gardens and the Donald Tillman Japanese Garden. He also tends to private collections in the Los Angeles area, styles private trees and hosts Bonsai workshops.

Daniel loves ponds; from creating to repair and upkeep, he finds them delightful. And his love of ponds shows in his work.

Deephouse Landscaping has three main pond and water feature services. 

​

  • Trouble shooting a problem, from leaks to algae and livestock issues, Daniel is an expert who can resolve problems and emergencies.

  • We service and maintain water features and Koi ponds of all sizes keeping them running happily and looking great.

  • We look after fish, turtles and aquatic plants, filters and pumps.
